About Hambidge Auction Artist Conversations: High Museum Curator of African Art, Lauren Tate Baeza, will moderate a conversation featuring select Hambidge Auction Artists.
About Hambidge Art Auction and Performance Party: Join us for the 28th Annual Hambidge Art Auction & Performance Party, one of Atlanta’s most talked about art events featuring the region’s most unique performers, artists, and interactive guest experiences. The event showcases artwork from over 200 of the best emerging and established artists from Atlanta and beyond. It will be held at the fabulous Uptown Atlanta. The original artworks range in price from $100—$20,000, which includes selected artwork from Kehinde Wiley, Lonnie Holley, and William Downs. The event will also feature interactive art installations by Eddie Farr, musical performances by Elle, plus dance performances by Dance Canvas. Chef Lamara Davidson of Cornbread and Kimchi will provide food for the VIP Lounge and Chow A La Carte will serve up global-inspired cuisine. Loren Lyles will curate unforgettable specialty craft cocktails. The auction also includes a $100 “Buy-It-Now “Works of Art section with 100+ works of art for purchase. Silent auction bidding begins September 23rd. During the two intervening weeks, the work will be open to the public and for free private tours September 23rd-October 6th. The closing Performance Party event on October 7th, 7-10 PM, attracts 1000+ attendees. Bidding happens online so the auction is open to attendees and those who wish to bid from home. All bidding ends October 7 at 10 PM.

Tuesday, September 26: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM – Join The Bakery at Uptown Atlanta for a special Chit Chit Club with Hambidge. Meet someone cool. Learn something new. Donate $5 to RSVP. Jamie Badoud, Executive Director, will be a featured speaker along with Brandon Sheats, Nedra Deadwyler, Mark Kendall, and Lisa Schnellinger.
